What kind of solvent is suitable for Hy solvent recovery machine ?and which solvents are not suitable?

Suitable:

This machine is suitable to recover organic solvents from a liquid solution, not suitable for recycling gaseous solvent and solid-state materials.

It’s suitable to recover organic solvents from waste solution, such as waste solution resulting from spray gun cleaning industry, trichloroethylene solution for cleaning electronic products, toluene solvent, optical lens cleaning IPA, ethanol, banana oil used in printing industry etc, can be simply categorized as follows:

  • Aromas: toluene, xylene, trimethyl benzene,
  • Aliphatic hydrocarbons: pentane, hexane, octane
  • Alicyclic hydrocarbon: cyclohexane, cyclohexanone, toluene cyclohexanone.
  • Halogenated hydrocarbons: chlorobenzene, dichlorobenzene, dichloromethane, trichloroethylene, etc.
  • Alcohol: Methanol, ethanol, Isopropyl alcohol etc.
  • Ether: ethyl ether, propylene oxide, etc.
  • Esters: Acetate, ethyl acetate, butyl acetate.
  • Ketones: Acetone, butanone, methyl isobutyl ketone.
  • As well as other organic solvents not listed.

Following Solvents Are Not Suitable:

  • Solvents containing nitrogen, oxidizer solvents, other dangerous chemicals.
  • Strong acid or strong alkaline solvents.
  • Oxic solvents,
  • Strong solvents, they are corrosive to stainless steel or brass.
  • The water content is too high, the water and the solvent are azeotropic, and the purpose of recovery is to remove water.
  • Oil (Motor oil, Lubricating oil,Etc.
  • VOC
  • Boiling point too low or too high, less than room temperature or higher than 230 degrees Celsius
