Purifying Your Solvent with Solvent Distillers
solvent distiller is used to recover and recycle solvents waste from industrial processes. It works by distilling off contaminants such as paint, dirt and oils from used cleaning solvents or thinners, allowing the solvent to be reused.
How Solvent Distiller Works?
A solvent distiller, also known as solvent recycling machine, works by purifying solvents through a process of distillation. The basic steps involved in the operation of a solvent recycling machine are as follows
Feeding
The contaminated solvent is loaded into the distillation tank(by hands, pump, or automatic feeding system)
Heating
The solvent is heated to its boiling point. The solvent evaporates and separates from the impurity solvent.
Cooling
The solvent vapor is transferred to the condenser, where it is cooled and condenses back to its liquid state.
Removing
The residue left in tank is removed by dumping distillate tank, bottom discharging, or removing the liner bag
Maximizing Savings with the Solvent Distiller
Solvent distillers are essential for separating, recovering, and recycling solvents in various industrial applications, helping to reduce waste and improve the efficiency and sustainability of the manufacturing process
Cost savings
Reusing solvents can significantly reduce the cost of solvent purchases and disposal fees.
Environmental sustainability
Recycling solvents helps to reduce the amount of waste generated, conserving resources and minimizing environmental impact.
Increased efficiency
By reducing the need for fresh solvent, a solvent recycling machine can help to improve the efficiency of processes, reducing downtime and increasing productivity.
Convenience
The solvent recycling machine can be used on-site, reducing the need for transportation and simplifying the process of purifying solvents.
Compliance with regulations
Many industries are subject to regulations governing the disposal of solvents and chemicals, and using a solvent recycling machine can help companies comply with these regulations while reducing their environmental impact.
Safety
Solvent recycling machines can be designed with safety features to reduce the risk of fire, explosion, or other hazards associated with the handling of solvents.
Suitable for Waste Solution / Solvent Type
It’s suitable for recovery of organic solvents used for cleaning from waste solution, such as waste solution resulting from spray gun cleaning industry, trichlorethylene solution for cleaning electronic products, toluene solvent, optical lens cleaning IPA, ethanol, banana oil used in printing industry etc. can be simply categorized as follows:
toluene, xylene, trimethyl benzene
pentane, hexane, octane
cyclohexane, cyclohexanone, toluene cyclohexanone
chlorobenzene, dichlorobenzene, dichloromethane, trichlorethylene, etc.
※ This machine is used to recover organic solvents from a liquid solution, not suitable for recycling gas and solid-state materials.
As well as other organic solvents not listed.
